Conductors Program

​

The International Lyric Academy is celebrating 30 years of success by partnering again with Opera Carolina. In 2024, the ILA will offer the opportunity for the Assistant Conductor Program to participate in the program either in Charlotte, USA or in Vicenza, Italy. They can also take advantage of the special bundled discounts and participate in the program in both countries.

The conductor’s program is a unique opportunity. A very limited number of promising young conductors will study with our Maestros  and assist with preparing the orchestras for the Full Opera productions and more.

2024 SYMPHONIC REPERTOIRE

L. VAN Beethoven, Symphony No. 9 - in D minor, Op. 125 (Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor, Bass)

 

PROGRAM PRICES: $6000 includes an air conditioned single room in a 4 stars hotel, with wi-fi and breakfast, but does not include airfare and meals.

The first payment is due when you are accepted and the second payment due May 15, 2023.

 

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOTH COUNTRIES:

IN USA: $4500 includes two-week hotel with roommates, breakfast, but does not include airfare and meals  (Arrive in Charlotte at the Airport (CLT) June 16 and depart from Charlotte July 1)

IN ITALY: $6000 includes 3-week hotel with roommates, breakfast, but does not include airfare and meals  (Arrive in Italy at Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) July 14 and depart from Venice August 4)

​

IN USA & ITALY: $8500 includes five-week  hotel with roommates, breakfast, but does not include airfare and meals  (June 16 - July 1 / July 14 - August 4)

All participants pay their own travel and insurance.
